1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar, Ferrari Red w/OHSC

This 1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom sports a very rare finish "Ferrari Red". This finish was found on a few different models from Gibson in the mid to late 80's including their Les Paul Studio, Standard & of course the Custom. Gibson neck profiles varied during this time period; this particular guitar has a very Slim Taper neck profile that's super skinny from the 1st through 5th fret while tapering out to a rounded shape near the 9th fret.

This 1985 Gibson Les Paul custom is in very good condition. The back shows signs of scratches, dings, and dents with some buckle rash dead center. The top has light scratching with a few dings and dents scattered. The binding has aged to a nice yellow. The finish surrounding both the Gibson logo and diamond inlay has begun to check. Everything about this guitar is original aside from the Schaller strap buttons and replacement output jack.
