The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Collection takes players for a hands-on exploration of the originators of an iconic instrument known around the world. Inspired by the original Gibson Les Paul Standard first produced in the 1950s, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard '50s takes classic specifications to produce an accurate recreation for the players of today.
Starting out with a carved maple cap with a mahogany body, the Les Paul Standard '50s introduces Gibson design for an authentic Les Paul experience from first touch. Along with a mahogany neck and Indian laurel fretboard, the Standard '50s fits comfortably into the hands of any player. The refined playing experience is matched by the dynamic voice of two ProBucker humbucker pickups that recreate a vintage Les Paul voice with impressive accuracy. Further quality features of the Les Paul Standard '50s include a rolled neck for comfort, era-appropriate wiring, and a Kalamazoo headstock to result in a fully realized recreation.
The Epiphone Les Paul Standard '50s is an exceptional instrument that captures an iconic musical experience. With an iconic design and a classic kick under the hood, Gibson fans of the world have good reason to be excited.
