This NAMM Limited Custom Shop Stratocaster is a '65 Relic in Aged Lake Placid Blue. Key features include an Alder body, tinted quartersawn maple neck with a '65 "C" profile, and its most unusual maple fingerboard - a feature not seen or offered on any 1960s pre-CBS Fender. Other key components to this Strat are Sanko 6105 frets, 9.5" radius, and handwound Fender '65 Strat pickups. It weighs in at 7 lbs, 12.5 oz.

Being this Strat features a standard Relic package, the lacquer on the back of the neck has been stripped, and the body and fingerboard feature wear throughout as if it were taken around the world. Its modern fretboard radius and 6105 frets offer quick, enhanced playability. The middle and neck pickup share a tone pot, and the bridge pickup is wired to its own. Plugged in, this '65 CS Strat is clean and articulate, with medium output. It ships in a black tolex Fender Custom Shop case with COA and FCS leather strap.
