A timeless classic, the guitar delivers warmth, roundness, and sizeable projection. It's top is supported by traditional scalloped x-bracing to promote resonation and a tighter low end response. Both the top and back of the body are wrapped in white binding and the top receives a tortoiseshell pickguard. The body is finished in Argentine Grey, a greenish-grey burst finish that was offered on Gibson instruments in the 1930's \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA mahogany neck is fashioned to the body in a set-neck design and is glued in place using hot hide glue. The neck's profile is a comfortable SlimTaper, offering accessibility for faster fretting and chord changes. Its neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard and is crowned with 19 frets and accented with dot inlays. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHigh quality hardware keeps the L-00 performing its best. Stings are loaded into the rosewood bridge and are held in place by tusq bridge pins. A tusq saddle and nut guide the strings to the headstock before being strung to pitch with the Grover Mini Rotomatic tuning machines located on the open-book headstock. For amplification, an L.R. Baggs VTC system is located within the body and can be controlled via the soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls.
