Compression threshold and attack and release times are easily shaped with the section's front-facing dials. For added shape and texture to your percussion, the DFX-1 also features dedicated delay and reverb sections. The unit's delay effects can be swapped between \"Vintage\" and \"Modern\" modes with a vintage-style, analog, tape-inspired echo with more pronounced degradation and a modern-minded digital delay with clearer repeats, respectively. These delays are matched with two reverb modes capturing splashy spring emulations or shimmery plate ones.
