The newfound classic of the Walrus line receives a fresh coat of paint – in more ways than one – with this MKII version. Classically ambient with reverse wonderlands of reverb, delay, and pitch-shifting, the Lore Reverse Soundscape Generator MKII is your invitation down the proverbial rabbit hole.

Retaining much of what made its first version so beloved but with definitive upgrades all along the way, the Lore MKII makes the story even more vivid, layered, and complex while maintaining a streamlined structure. Onboard, five effect modes spin diverse tonal textures with reverse delay, reverse reverb, octave up, octave down, and pitch-shift ingredients making up the sonic soup. These effects inspire luscious soundscapes that wander off into many different directions, making for a captivating trip every time.

Straightforward controls allow for the Lore MKII to be complex but not complicated. Intuitive controls invite players in to shape and sculpt their various ambient soundscapes as they see fit. Dedicated controls for modulation rate and LFO waveform globally shape effects with distinct modulated movement while controls for pitch dive and rise ramping give on-the-fly control angles to make Lore's liveliness bloom and breathe in real time.

Modern functions with the Lore MKII include many options for connectivity and control. An onboard preset bank allows for three slots to be programmed and recalled. The pedal's 1/8" MIDI connections make that bank even bigger for over one hundred more preset slots available, in addition to full control over any parameter. An expression control connection builds out hands-free control over the Lore's effects while selectable bypass modes either let its soundscapes drift on after the footswitch is pressed or cut off immediately. Finally, full stereo routing with two inputs and outputs open up the Lore MKII to massive stereo widths. Standard nine-volt power supplies at 300mA minimum bring the Lore MKII to life on any board or in any rig.

The story is never-ending, it seems, with Walrus and their Lore MKII reverse soundscape generator!

MKII multi-mode reverse soundscaping effect

Reverse reverb, reverse delay, octave, and pitch effect modes

Onboard LFO modulation section with depth, speed, and waveform shape controls

Dive and rise manual ramp control

Tap tempo control footswitch

Full stereo routing with dual 1/4" inputs and outputs and stereo spread control

Onboard preset bank with 100+ additional slots accessible via MIDI

1/8" MIDI connections with full control over any parameter

1/4" expression control connection

Buffered bypass with trails or no trails cutoff modes

USB-C connection for future firmware updates

Standard nine-volt power operation at 300mA minimum

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1210/3886/files/9001067MKII-walrus-audio-lore-reverse-soundscape-generator-mkii-reverb-effect-pedal-green-1.png?v=1791211004
https://www.russomusic.com/products/walrus-audio-lore-reverse-soundscape-generator-mkii-reverb-effect-pedal-green
