Description
The Ibanez BTB605TGF Standard 5-String bass punches above its price point, offering the tonal depth and playability Ibanez is well known for.
The contoured okoume body features a distinctive wing design to produce a bright and solid sound, while the neck-through construction offers enhanced sustain and superior fretboard access. Crafted from 5-piece maple/jatoba the neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium frets, white dot inlays, and BTB5 neck profile.
At it's heart, dual Ibanez A1 pickups amplify the tone of this bass and deliver clear, open tone with strong mids and lows. The included Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with Mid frequency switch offers straight forward, powerful EQ control. Anchored to the body, the mono-rail MR5 bridge offers solid string isolation; resulting the maximum vibration transfer to increase resonance.
Modern design meets practical accessibility—this is what sets the BTB605TGF apart among 5-string basses.
