Our Asbury Park story began humbly in 2010, in a basement underneath Holdfast Records on Cookman Avenue. It didn't take long for the seed we planted there to outgrow its original home, and in 2013 we relocated to the first floor of the Lakehouse building at 619 Lake Avenue. This location, shared with the renowned Lakehouse Music Academy and recording studios, has been our proud home ever since. In 2023 we celebrated the 10th anniversary of this dynamic music complex. Our Asbury Park store is our second location, with Russo Music Hamilton being the original shop and Russo Music Philadelphia being our third location.

This store is known for its vast selection of electric and acoustic guitars, synthesizers, drums, amplifiers, effects, and accessories. Our guitar inventory includes both production and custom shop lines of Fender, Gibson, Martin, and Taylor. We have instruments to suit every player, from those picking up their first guitar to seasoned professionals in search of a one-off Masterbuilt model. Our synthesizer offerings are equally diverse, featuring models from Teenage Engineering, Moog, Korg, and Roland.

Our amplifiers and effects collection is a trove of tone, featuring iconic brands such as Marshall, Orange, and Mesa Boogie, along with innovative effects makers like EarthQuaker Devices, Old Blood Noise, Audio Kitchen, JHS, Walrus Audio, and Keeley.

For musicians needing a hand with their gear, our bustling guitar repair department is factory-authorized for Gibson, Fender, Taylor, and more. Our repair services cover everything from simple restrings to complex neck resets.

We're fortunate to be surrounded by Lakehouse's music academy and recording studios upstairs. While we don't offer in-house lessons, we heartily recommend the esteemed instructors of Lakehouse Music Academy for anyone interested in advancing their musical skills.
