Synonymous with Bass
Nearly every bass and bassist has been inspired by a Fender bass guitar. The company was the first to introduce an electric solid body bass. Since all the way back in 1951, Fender basses have seen and lasted through truly the evolution and continuation of music. They continue to be recorded, performed with, and sought after by every player from the new venturing student to the veteran touring professional.
Design philosophy, classic and current.
The Fender Precision and Jazz basses, of course, continue their legacy as classics in the bass community, and are offered in a number of production series for an appeal to any player or style of music. Bass designs such as the Mustang, Musicmaster, and Dimension bass carry on as new modern classics. Fender has offerings outside of the vintage design, with certain bass models yielding active electronics and noiseless pickups, compound neck profiles and fingerboard radii. Numerous artists have or have had a signature bass with Fender; from Jaco to Pino, to Larry Mullen, Jr. and Justin Meldal-Johnsen. Whatever your story or style, there is a Fender bass ready for you when you are.
