Benson Amps is a Portland-based company that creates some of the most advanced and musically inspirational guitar effects pedals in the industry. The brand was born out of Christopher Benson's fascination with sound and his desire to create the perfect instrument for his own music with zero compromises. This passion for careful craftsmanship and pursuit of new sounds puts Benson Amps in a league of its own.

Benson Amps focuses on creating original circuits that take advantage of 70 years of tradition, using components carefully selected for quality and tone. A particular focus is on clean tones that sound euphonic and rich, effortlessly transitioning into harmonics by varying pick or finger attack. This commitment to quality and innovation has earned Benson Amps a reputation as a brand that can give guitarists a signature tone that's all their own.

Benson Pedals

Benson Preamp Pedals are compact powerhouses that replicate amp-like touch sensitivity, responding dynamically to your playing. With carefully designed EQ controls, you can shape lows, mids, and highs to achieve warmth, clarity, or punch. Despite their size, these Preamp Pedals can offer clean boost, overdrive, or even fuzz effects.

Benson Amps Fuzz Pedals, on the other hand, encapsulate the essence of classic fuzz while pushing boundaries with innovative designs. With dynamic controls, you can shape gritty saturation, sustain, and harmonic richness. Benson Fuzz Pedals respond to your playing style, delivering expressive and diverse fuzz textures.

Benson Amps' expertise with amplification results in such incredible creations as the Germanium Fuzz and Preamp Pedal. The Germanium Fuzz is a true-to-form recreation of the original Fuzz Face circuit with modern upgrades, while the Preamp Pedal features a wide range of tonal shaping capabilities to deliver a versatile and dynamic sound.

Benson Amps is run by a team of craftsmen/musicians who put together each pedal by hand with the utmost care and attention to detail. Their commitment to quality and innovation has earned them a place in musical history as one of the most advanced and musically inspirational brands in the industry.

Overall, Benson Amps is a brand that's dedicated to pushing the boundaries of guitar effects pedals and creating innovative and high-quality products that inspire musicians. Their unique circuits, carefully-selected components, and attention to detail have made them a favorite among guitarists looking for a signature sound that's all their own.
