For something truly sweet, the Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Special is a straight runway to a luscious bass experience. This specific bass, wrapped in a fruity Cherry Punch finish, summons a lineup of unique Music Man bass features for the hungry bassists of the world. Matching modern upgrades with classic tones, this is a bass to truly sink your teeth into.

The Music Man StingRay Special begins with an ash body taking Music Man's classic double-cutaway form. This body, effortlessly moved across a stage, makes for a basic foundation off which the rest of this musical experience can spring. Reaching out from this body, this StingRay Special features a "C"-shaped roasted maple neck treated to a gunstock oil and special wax finish, making it play without a hitch across its full length. Assembled with a five-bolt sculpted joint, this neck is reliable and sturdy. The roasted maple of this neck matches with an ebony fingerboard bearing twenty-two stainless steel frets. Connecting with a fluid and solid fretting experience, the StingRay Special is primed for fast maneuvers from higher to lower registers for dynamic and expressive playability.

For its sound, the voice of this StingRay Special comes out to play through a single neodymium humbucker wired with a 3-band, 18-volt preamp that offers wide worlds of tone to mix through. Volume, Treble, Mid, and Bass controls enable the exploration of vivid spectrums of bass tone perfect for any aficionado to really get involved in. These tones are matched with Music Man's solid hardware specifications including a Vintage Music Man top-loaded gold plated steel bridge with nickel-plated steel saddles. Ensuring a stable foundation, this bridge is paired at the scale's opposite end with custom lightweight Music Man tuning machines with tapered string posts. Totally, this bass is smooth, sturdy, and ready for action. All of this is wrapped up in the StingRay Special's included Mono-brand case.

A delectable piece, this Music Man StingRay Special is a sweet and savory instrument primed for the stage.
