Description
The PRS SE Paul's Guitar in Faded Blue is a solidbody electric guitar offering a wealth of tone and versatility. Featuring TCI "S" treble and bass pickups, two mini-toggle switches, and the iconic PRS stoptail bridge with brass inserts, this instrument provides players with a range of vintage and modern sounds while maintaining a striking aesthetic.
The guitar is equipped with a mahogany neck constructed with multi-ply and a PRS double-acting truss rod for stability. The Wide Fat neck shape has a 7/8" depth at the nut, 1 11/16" width at the nut, and 2 1/4" width at the body, allowing for comfortable playing. The rosewood fretboard features a 10" radius and the signature PRS bird inlays, with 22 frets on a 25" scale length. The headstock is adorned with the signature "SE" logo.
The PRS SE Paul's Guitar showcases a flame maple veneer on a maple top, with a shallow violin carve that enhances its stunning Faded Blue finish. The mahogany back contributes to the guitar's resonance and warmth, while the set neck/body assembly type ensures a seamless connection and improved sustain.
This guitar is fitted with TCI "S" treble and bass pickups, delivering pure and vintage-inspired tones. The electronics include volume and tone controls, a 3-way toggle pickup switch, and two mini-toggle coil-split switches. These switches allow players to put either or both pickups in true single-coil mode, providing the clarity and uniqueness of vintage single-coil tones in both single-coil and humbucking positions.
The PRS SE Paul's Guitar in Faded Blue is an exceptional instrument that offers a blend of vintage and modern tonal options, along with a remarkable design. Aspiring professionals on a budget will appreciate the top-shelf features and versatility of this guitar, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a high-quality instrument without compromising on performance. The PRS stoptail bridge with brass inserts and vintage-style tuners ensure tuning stability, and the included gig bag provides protection during transport.
