Sterling JP70 John Petrucci Signature 7-String Electric Guitar, Mystic Dream

Built for the shredders, designed for performance, and extended for a lower range, the Sterling JP70 John Petrucci signature electric guitar supplies a 7-string that is equipped and functional for the modern, demanding player. This JP70 begins with a nyatoh solidbody, featuring a contoured forearm scoop that allows unobstructed access to every fret. The body touts a mesmerizing gloss Mystic Dream finish that is visually appealing on every stage. Attached to the body is a hard maple neck that is smooth and intuitive across the entire 25.5" scale length. Affixed to the neck is a rosewood fingerboard, lined with medium jumbo frets and custom JP inlays.

Supportive hardware details have been installed in the JP70 to provide a lasting, quality 7-string build. A modern tremolo bridge stabilizes intonation while allowing for aggressive pitch-modulation—divebombs included. At the headstock, die-cast tuning machines offer simple operation for reliable pitches through even the longest, most demanding sessions. Lastly, a duo of ceramic humbucker pickups amplifying the powerful articulate tone that emanates from the JP70. Explosive, and with attitude, but never struggles to clean up, this extended range John Petrucci signature electric guitar is a perfect pick for any guitarist looking for more variety in their tonal arsenal.
