Description
A thunderous model ready to rock, the Sterling StingRay Baritone is a masterfully done guitar ready to go low (real low). Assembling with classic Music Man StingRay-style design tenets and propelled by classic baritone shapes and sounds, this longer and lower StingRay is ready to slip right into your guitar arsenal.
Balancing classic designs of the Music Man StingRay series and performance-ready features of modern baritone instruments, the StingRay Baritone is ready for action at a moment's notice. Everything here begins with a popular body in the classic Music Man StingRay double-cutaway shape. Smoothly slipped under the arm or over the shoulder with a strap, this body offers a streamlined playing experience no matter how low the register. Reaching out, this baritone brings on a roasted maple neck extended to a long-scale 27.5" scale length. Offering a B standard tuning experience out of the box, this neck provides the runway you need to take off into wild and expressive baritone territories. A rosewood fingerboard joins in lined with twenty-four Medium-sized frets across a 12" radius.
Sonically, this baritone punches in with two ceramic humbucking pickups. Perfect for matching the low, low voices this StingRay sings with, these humbuckers mix and meld with streamlined controls and pickup selection. Locking tuners at the headstock match with a Sterling Vintage Tremolo bridge at the body for expressive vibrato bends and sturdy intonation.
A perfect choice for your go-to B standard riffs, Sterling's baritone is a masterclass.
