Vox Bobcat S66 Electric Guitar, Sunburst

VOX's Bobcat is something of an international wonder. Originally produced in Italy in the mid-1960s, this unique semi-hollow has been revived for the players of today in the form of the Bobcat S66. Ready to take on the world yet again, this guitar is constructed for a distinct feel in hand and a refined tonal experience. Just like their world-famous amplifiers, VOX brings out the best for their players.

The Bobcat S66 starts out with a maple plywood body with a weight-relieved spruce center block for easy handling with enhanced sustain and resonance. This comfortable double-cutaway semi-hollow body also works to resist feedback when played at high volumes. In hand, the Bobcat S66's mahogany neck and Indonesian ebony fingerboard feels sleek and comfortable in hand for extended playing sessions. The Bobcat's bite is summoned by three VOX S66 single-coil pickups for tones that can run hot for that classic British chime and crunch. Your playing experience with the Bobcat S66 is anchored with a fixed Tune-o-matic bridge and trapeze tailpiece that allows for solid intonation and lasting sustain. The Bobcat S66 is decked out in pure vintage style with open-gear tuning heads, a classic headstock logo, and rich body finish.

VOX and British rock music have formed an inseparable relationship. For many players, there is little that can match the classic British tone that only VOX can provide. With a VOX guitar in hand, that sensational international hype really comes alive for players of today to experience a VOX legacy decades in the making.
