Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS02T Electric Guitar, Sonic Blue

In the restless spirit of '60s London, the Yamaha Revstar RSS02T is a guitar that seamlessly threads the needle on retro and modern. This Revstar, fashioned in tribute to the styles of '60s Café Racer bikes found around the streets of mid-twentieth century London, couples a suite of player-forward features for dynamic musicality.

The Yamaha RSS02T drops in with a retro-minded design coupled with modern playability. A chambered mahogany body at the get-go inspires a light and resonant feel and response, particularly when paired with a maple top for that added high-end crispness. Gloss wraps this body for that sleek look and feel across its double-horned form. At this point, a three-piece mahogany neck reaches out with a carbon reinforced design and a satin finish. This neck builds up with a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Jumbo stainless steel frets. Made for speed and spaciousness, these frets assemble across a quick twelve-inch fingerboard radius to facilitate supremely smooth moves across lower and higher registers.

Sonically, this Revstar Standard punches in with two Yamaha VP5n pickups. These two P90 single-coil Alnico V magnet pickups drop in with an effortlessly punchy and exciting tone made for cutting cleanly through the mix and making yourself known. Master volume and tone controls feature a five-way pickup selector switch and a push/pull "Focus" switch that shapes the P90s' sound to play in a variety of different ways. Bolstering the voice, the Revstar Standard RSS02T loads in a number of reliable hardware specs like a Tune-O-Matic bridge and Racing tailpiece to make for a sturdy connection and easy stringing experiences. This Yamaha Revstar comes with an included Yamaha gig bag.

Put the pedal to the metal, rev up your engines, whatever you gotta do, Yamaha's riding shotgun.
