Description
Once again, Gibson and Green Day's guitar-wielding punk front man have teamed up to bring you one of the finest single-pickup guitars in the biz. The new Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior is an inspirational rock-making machine, decked out with Billie's preferred appointments. Its sleek mahogany body and SlimTaper mahogany neck are sprayed in a decadent nitrocellulose lacquer finish, this one in Silver Mist. The 12" radius rosewood fingerboard is decorated in simple white acrylic dot inlays, that visually pair perfectly with the white buttons on the vintage deluxe tuners. An aluminum wraparound bridge and Graph Tech keep your strings taught and ready for you to riff up and down the 24.75" scale. One of its most exciting features is the brand new P-90 DC pickup. This hum-canceling design comes from the mind of Jim DeCola, one of Gibson's finest luthiers. A modernized version of the Sidewinder dual-coil, this pickup delivers true single-coil P-90 sound while eliminating the undesirable hum that would normally come with. All hand-wired electronics with orange drop capacitors ensure that this Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior's tone is reliable, pure, and always ready to be turned up to eleven.
