Description
Gibson's Les Paul Deluxe Electric Guitar made a splash upon its introduction in 1969. The new addition of mini humbucker pickups to the line gave the Les Paul a new spring in its step. Brighter and clearer tonality made the Les Paul's mini humbuckers stand out among other Les Pauls while entering the 1970s. Today's Les Paul 70s Deluxe brings together those mini humbuckers with key specifications inspired by 1970s Les Pauls for a new take on the Les Paul formula.
A non-weight relief mahogany body and bound maple top make up the classic Les Paul body shape while a mahogany neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard create a smooth and streamlined feeling in hand. The mini humbuckers on this Les Paul summon a lighter tone still with plenty of kick. Hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors and equipped with a Tune-O-Matic bridge, this Les Paul keeps the entire playing experience tonally precise. Of the many classic Les Pauls from the 1970s, this vintage Goldtop Gibson Model Les Paul Deluxe brings back the instrument in full force.
