Description
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s, now available in the captivating Inverness Green finish, showcases its own unique personality within the Les Paul family. This model encapsulates the spirit of vintage Les Pauls from the 1960s, a period marked by the transition to a slimmer neck profile and hotter pickups, resulting in a distinct tonal and playing experience.
Taking inspiration from the 1960s Cadillac color catalog, the Inverness Green finish imparts a bold and eye-catching character to the Les Paul Standard '60s. This visually striking choice is thoughtfully complemented by the guitar's refined aesthetics, including gold "top hat" style knobs featuring silver reflectors, cream plastics, and nickel pickup covers.
One of the most prominent features of the Les Paul Standard '60s is its SlimTaper neck profile. This design choice offers a slimmer and faster playing experience, catering to those who appreciate agile and nimble performance. To ensure unwavering tuning stability, Grover Rotomatic closed gear tuners have been incorporated, allowing you to maintain precise tuning even during the most vigorous playing sessions.
In terms of pickups, the Les Paul Standard '60s is outfitted with Gibson 60s Burstbucker pickups. These pickups are wound around Alnico V magnets, imparting a hotter tonal character with enhanced attack and midrange presence. This makes the guitar an exceptional choice for players seeking a pronounced and dynamic tonal response.
Staying true to the timeless tradition of Les Paul guitars, the Les Paul Standard '60s upholds the legacy of impeccable craftsmanship and immediate solidity. Its foundation remains rooted in a non-weight relieved Mahogany body, crowned by a single-ply bound plain Maple top. The guitar also features a classic Indian Rosewood fingerboard adorned with 22 standard frets and classic Acrylic Trapezoid inlays.
The Les Paul Standard '60s in Inverness Green pays homage to the enduring allure of the electric guitar. It offers players a versatile and expressive instrument, poised to leave its mark in any musical genre. Whether you're a seasoned professional or an emerging artist, this guitar delivers a classic yet contemporary playing experience, certain to inspire and ignite your musical journey.
