Description
The year is 1992 and Mesa's on a tear – to commemorate such a monumental year, we have the Mesa Boogie 90s Dual Rectifier amp head in a righteous Racing Red and Black Snake vinyl. Mesa's history with dual rectifying tube amp heads is all but self-evident. The massive, layered, organically-saturating tube tone that launched a thousand '90s radio rock hits is still an undeniable force today. This tube tone truth manifests today in a limited edition dual rectifier release commemorating decades of Mesa rectifying.
This Mesa Boogie Limited Edition 90s Dual Rectifier comes together with the pure tube soul that stoked plenty of rock and metal fires. The central hearth of this flame comes from a combination of Mesa 6L6 and EL34 power tubes and 12AX7 preamp tubes. Mesa's original dual rectifying playability experience is delivered intact in this limited version with a seamless multi-channel switching experience. One hundred watts of pure tube muscle blasts between the amp's two channels and six total modes. Buckets of Mesa tube saturation pour from the 90s Dual Rectifier to soak any signal in the awesome tube distortion that sent so many songs forward all those years ago.
Mesa's dual rectifying mojo comes to life with switchable tube or silicon diode rectification, as in the '90s, to recreate the character and feel of the legendary Dual Rec sound that leagues of players find essential. Controls for amp gain, EQ, and presence deliver the shapeshifting sound and playability of original Mesas alongside a true bypass series FX loop for working in your own external effects while not impeding upon the amp's authentic distortion. Speaker outputs for two 8-Ohm, two 4-Ohm, or one 16-Ohm bring this '90s classic to so many configurations seamlessly. An included footswitch and slipcover complete the picture for a '90s Mesa Boogie the same as it ever was.
The '90s are back – and about time, right? Fire up this true blue (or red) Mesa Boogie Dual Rec experience and wreak havoc once more.
