This Martin Custom Shop Dreadnought 18 Style starts with an exquisite Adirondack Spruce top, reinforced by Adirondack Spruce bracing in Martin's Golden Era Forward Shifted Scalloped X pattern. This bracing not only enhances the guitar's natural resonance and articulation but, with its forward shifting style, also enriches the bass response. It's a remarkable detail that truly accentuates the exceptional qualities of Adirondack Spruce, a top wood choice considered by many as the pinnacle of tonal excellence.
The body of this Custom 18-Style Dreadnought showcases Sinker Mahogany for its back and sides construction. Sinker Mahogany is known for imparting a luxurious, earthy tone and delivering a highly responsive, dynamic playing experience.
