Orange Amps, established in 1968, has long been a pioneer in the world of amplification. The journey began with founder Cliff Cooper, who opened a humble music shop and recording studio in London’s West End with just a £50 loan. This entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for the development of the iconic Orange amplifiers, renowned for their distinctive, vibrant orange color and unparalleled sound quality. Orange Amps quickly captured the attention of legendary musicians such as Jimmy Page, Stevie Wonder, and John Lennon, cementing their status in rock history.

From the start, Orange Amps set themselves apart by collaborating closely with artists to fine-tune their sound, even before the first OR series model hit the market. This unique approach, combining artist feedback with cutting-edge technology, has led to a diverse range of amplifiers that continue to satisfy musicians across genres. In 1979, Orange expanded into bass amplification, launching the OR112SB Super Bass model. This innovation introduced bass players to the rich, powerful tones that Orange Amps are known for.

Today, Orange Amps remains at the forefront of amplification technology, offering a broad product line that caters to both guitarists and bassists. Their selection includes classic tube amps, hybrid models, and state-of-the-art solid-state amplifiers. Each product delivers the distinctive Orange sound—warm, rich, and dynamic.

In addition to amplifiers, Orange has developed a series of pedals that encapsulate their signature sound, enhancing performance with EQ, compression, fuzz, and distortion effects. These pedals offer musicians a versatile range of soundscapes, from subtle tonal tweaks to full-blown sonic transformations.

Despite their vintage appeal and adherence to British amp traditions, Orange Amps is dedicated to innovation and excellence. Their unwavering pursuit of perfection makes Orange Amps the preferred choice for musicians seeking quality, reliability, and a truly iconic sound.
