Description
An amplifier to rule them all; we have this stunning Mesa Boogie Mark VII head sporting a custom Cream Bronco wrap with leather corners. Put simply, Mark VII takes all of Mesa Boogie's founder Randall Smith's 50 plus years of knowledge, innovation, and experience and condenses it in a simple, versatile, and compact amplifier. Loaded with multiple channels, modes, Simul-Class Power section, multi-watt technology, on board reverb and FX loop, and MIDI functionality to name a few features, the Mark VII is feature rich to help players sound and feel their best on stage or in the studio.
Powering the Mark VII are 4 x 6L6 (or EL34) power tubes and 5 x 12AX7 pre amp tubes. At full operation power, the amplifier outputs 90-watts, but can be scaled down to 45 or 25-watt operation thanks to its multi-watt functionality. The front panel provides access to the amp's input, 3 channels (9 modes total across 3 channels), 5-band graphic EQ section, reverb control, power, and standby switches.
Mark VII's back panel provides access to 3 channel's cabinet selection knobs for the built in Cab-Clone IR Cab simulator (8 Mesa Cabinet IRs available), line out, headphone out, direct out, lift/ground control, USB output for IR transfers, speaker outputs, FX loop send/return, Mesa footswitch input, MIDI I/O, and Bias control to toggle between EL34 and 6L6 power operation modes. A 6-button footswitch and fitted slipcover is included.
Clocking in at only 40 lb, The Mark VII is a compact tone machine capable of handling anything you throw its way – use it as a pedal platform, crunch amp, rock amp, hard rock amp, or full on metal amp, no matter what you play, it sounds excellent.
