The Blumes Jr., a bite-sized evolution of EQD's beloved Blumes Low Signal Shredder brings the same varied, versatile "screamer" bass-forward overdrive experience with a few creative liberties taken to commemorate its new, small size. This bass-ready icon of the EQD library tips the scales in the smallest way possible for a new low-end shredder.

Retaining much of what makes its big sibling such a classic, the Blumes Jr. is built up around an authentic analog "screamer"-style overdrive experience fired up with delectable tone at every turn voiced specifically for the low-end signals of bass guitars. The pedal's three-way clipping mode selection toggle swings between three distinct overdrive voices with the leftmost "L" version's symmetrical LED clipping for chunky crunch and the middle "N" version's OpAmp boost volume-forward drive.

When it comes to bringing the goods, this bass screamer bends from the same-old is with its third "M" mode's MOSFET Mod mode. This MOSFET mode serves up a new tone harmonically rich and low-end focused, reminiscent of more modern high-gain tube amps. EarthQuaker's classic functions for playability are found throughout the Plumes Jr. including their true bypass footswitching and standard nine-volt DC center negative power requirements.
