Refreshed and refined, the American Professional is back! Showcasing a new specs and finishes, we have this Fender American Professional Jazz Bass, finished in Olympic White. Drawing from over 60 years of innovation, heritage, and evolution, the American Professional series has been refreshed to meet the demands of today's players.

This J gets its famed silhouette from a double-cut contoured piece of alder and a bolt-on maple neck. Its body is finished in a timeless Olympic White finish and sports nickel/chrome hardware and a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. A sculpted neck heel and hand-rolled fingerboard edges enhance playability and improved access to the upper register. Posiflex graphite rods located in the neck help reinforce against movement that can occur from fluctuations in the climate. It's maple neck features a slim "C" profile with a "Super-Natural" satin finish on the back, offering a sleek play experience. The neck is topped by a rosewood fingerboard that and is crowned with 20 narrow tall frets and is accented by white dot inlays.

To amplify its voice, a brand new set of V-Mod III single-coil pickups make their debut and are located in the middle and bridge positions. Designed to deliver solid output and punch while maintaining the warmth and body of a vintage J, they sound exceptional. The electronics are wired up to ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers which offer smooth, consistent control. The control set consists of 2 volumes and and master tone. Strings are loaded through the 4-saddle HiMass Pro bridge, rest in the slotted bone nut, and are strung to pitch with the Fender Lightweight Vintage-Style tuning machines with tapered shafts. A deluxe molded hardshell case is included for ultimate protection at home or on the go.
