Description
Celebrating Epiphone's 150th anniversary, the Crestwood Custom Limited Edition arrives with a bang, offering a unique blend of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality. This guitar pays homage to the original Crestwood Custom, the first Epiphone solid body guitar featuring dual pickups.
Constructed from solid mahogany, the body of the Crestwood Custom showcases the iconic asymmetrical Crestwood profile. This carries with it the legacy of the 1960s, beautifully bathed in a vibrant California Coral gloss finish.
The neck, also crafted from mahogany, shows off a 1960s SlimTaper D-profile, offering a familiar and comfortable grip for varied playing styles. Its 24.75" scale length Indian laurel fingerboard is embellished with the unique choice of oval inlays. Hosting 22 medium jumbo frets, this guitar assures versatile playability.
In terms of tone, the Epiphone 150th Anniversary Crestwood Custom doesn't compromise. It's equipped with Gibson Mini Humbuckers at the neck and bridge, delivering a robust and crystalline sound. The electronics are finely tuned with CTS pots, featuring 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, and a 3-way Switchcraft Toggle for pickup selection.
Adding to the Crestwood's allure is the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge coupled with a Tremotone Vibrato, expanding the range of pitch-altering possibilities. The guitar maintains tuning integrity through a Graph Tech nut and Wilkinson tuning machines, ensuring your performances stay in key.
Capping off this remarkable package, the guitar comes with an Epiphone 150th Anniversary Historic Hardshell Case, offering both aesthetic charm and durable protection for your instrument. This rendition of the Crestwood Custom is truly a tribute to Epiphone's rich past and a promising glimpse into its future
