Epiphone Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior Electric Guitar, Radiant Red

Fresh off his world tour of Green Day's 14th studio album "Saviors," Epiphone and Billie Joe Armstrong have once again collaborated to bring you the latest from his signature models. Introducing the Epiphone Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior in Radiant Red. Combining both his Gibson and Epiphone signature models, this is his 12th signature Les Paul Junior, the man loves his Juniors! As fellow Junior fans, we're excited for this one and more than ready to thrash out some power chords.

The Les Paul Junior is adored for its simplistic yet pure rock and roll design. Originally released and designed in 1954 to be a student model, the Junior is straight forward as you can get. Its single cutaway slab mahogany body features a single-ply black pickguard, wraparound tailpiece, and Epiphone Pro P-90. The P-90 offers a fat single-coil sound that is spongy and warm clean, but throw some overdrive in the mix and it'll go full flamethrower with plenty of mid-range clank and bite. A range of tones are accessible through the volume and tone control.

True to most of Billie's vintage stage guitars, this LPJ has a vintage '50s rounded profile mahogany neck. Attached to the body in a traditional set-neck design, the neck meets the body at the 16th fret. The fatter neck profile fills the hand nicely and offers great support. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard and is crowned by 22 medium-jumbo frets. The headstock sports the old school Kalamazoo style headstock shape and features Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines with white buttons. On the back of the neck, a reproduction of Billie's signature can be seen, this detail first originated on his first run of Gibson Juniors from 2006. The guitar is completed by a signature hardshell case that features a leopard printed interior and sports a Warning era logo on the outside.
