Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul Baritone Electric Guitar, Obsidian Storm Satin

Epiphone, known for their meticulous innovation, are here to introduce the Prophecy Les Paul Baritone, a modern-minded B-to-B tuned electric guitar that cements the timeless model further into the twenty-first century. Featuring forward-thinking appointments, powerful pickups, and a striking visual aesthetic, this baritone Les Paul is for the demanding players who crave a low-end dominating guitar with a wide tonal palette.

The Prophecy Les Paul baritone features a maple top with figured veneer, adorned with an Obsidian Storm Satin finish that lets the beauty of the wood grain shine through the dark aesthetic. An Ultra Modern weight-relieved mahogany body makes up the single cutaway Les Paul shape, leading to a resonant and balanced tone that supports and extenuates the lower tuning. Connected to the body is a one-piece maple neck, offered in a Hyperglide profile that is comfortable, fast, and smooth across the entire 27" baritone scale length. Affixed to the neck is an ebony fingerboard, touting an intuitive 10-14" compound radius, and lined with stainless steel frets and block inlays for practical and visual appeal.

For further modern-improvement, the Prophecy Les Paul is supported with a through-body tailpiece leading into a LockTone Modern bridge, leading to crisp highs, resonant lows, and an intonation that never falters. The Graph Tech nut and locking Grover Rotomatic tuners combo ensures precise pitches, and allows for easy string changes when the eventual time arises. However, the real highlight of the Prophecy Les Paul is a set of Fishman Fluence active humbucker pickups. These powerful pickups, balanced and articulate, are supported by coil-tapping and voicing modes found in push/pull mechanisms on volume and tone controls, resulting in high-output humbucking tones, crisp and clean articulate sweetness, and every tonal option in between.

Packaged with an Epiphone Protector Ultralite gig bag, this Prophecy Les Paul Baritone is ready to deliver low-end fury across the world.
