Description
Drawing inspiration from the highly successful WildKat, the Epiphone Uptown Kat has been released into the six-string jungle. This ES-style semi-hollowbody has a long list of favorite key features that make it a must-have arch top for any players collection. Its solid centerblock provides all the sustain you need on an F-hole instrument, while also preventing unwanted, out of control feedback. The SlimTaper C-profile is quick and comfy, prioritizing playability. Its 12" radius Ebony fingerboard is highlighted with bold Pearloid block inlays that compliment the guitar's metallic finish. Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners keep the strings in check, along with its Graph Tech nut and LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge. What's most exciting about the Kat though are the pickups. Two newly designed ProBucker FB720 mini-humbuckers are at the ready to growl, or purr, depending on what mood this Uptown Kat finds itself in.
