Fender 1964 Jazzmaster 3-Tone Sunburst - Used

This is a legit 1964 Fender Jazzmaster. Everything on this guitar is all original from its birth year, and it shows numerous signs of age, gigs, and love.

It goes without saying that the Jazzmaster has been favored over the years in rock and roll, alternative, post-rock, grunge, surf, and other styles of popular music. Long referred as Fender's left-of-center underground hero, the Jazzmaster almost replaced the Stratocaster as a production model, due to declining popularity of the Stratocaster, until Jimi Hendrix revitalized the Strat, boosting sales.

This guitar speaks for itself as the real deal. It is a great example of what would commonly be referred to as a "Player Grade" vintage instrument. The neck on this Jazzmaster is incredibly comfortable and fun to play, with slight wear on the back of the neck between the second and seventh frets. Although there are finish chips throughout the body, there are no gouges in the wood. The first few frets show wear, but as a whole the frets have plenty of life in them yet.

Plugged in, this 1964 Jazzmaster has a lovely attack and presence. Yes, of course, bang away on your favorite Elvis Costello song if it's in your hands. It would be insulted if you didn't!
