The Fender American Professional Hot Shot Telecaster spins off an iconic Tele experience in the American Professional series. Impressive Fender specifications shuffled throughout the Tele mix with the series' thrilling innovations to bring in both new and experienced players with thoroughly modern features at the helm. The heart of this classically alternative Telecaster starts with a single-cutaway alder body. An iconic Fender tonewood if there ever were one, this alder serves as an excellent musical foundation with a bright and resonant tone. What's more, the model's impressive gloss finish stands out onstage through a shady Dark Night color.

Pretty much as recognizable as its single-cut Tele form, the American Professional Hot Shot Telecaster brings on a maple neck in a Deep "C" profile. This sleek "C" shape makes for quick moves from lower to higher registers with speed alongside a Fender "Super-Natural" satin finish. Complementing the comfort of the neck in the palm for the fingertips, a rosewood fingerboard appears with rolled edges. Strikingly sleek when playing at high or low registers, the Hot Shot Telecaster features a sculpted neck heel, allowing for easy access to higher frets when soloing. This addition brings classic Strat sparkle to the table to mix in and shake up your usual Tele tonality. Even better, a push-push switch on the tone control adds the Strat neck pickup into pickup positions 1 and 2 for unique tone mixing. Fender's ClassicGear Precision potentiometers from here then shape this mix of single-coil tones for smooth, consistent control and custom torque, making playability all the more precise.

This American Professional Hot Shot Telecaster backs up its musical experience with a number of striking hardware specifications. First off, this Tele features a new top-loading/string-through Telecaster bridge with three compensated brass saddles. Offering either through-body or top-load stringing, this bridge retains intonation solidly with warm, brass-saddle tone. Heading in the direction of the headstock, standard cast/sealed staggered tuning machine and a bone nut make for quick stringing and sturdy intonation.
