Fender has returned with their beloved American Professional series to deliver an awesome Jazzmaster with a suite of adjustments, improvements, and modifications to make it one of the best versions of the iconic model. If you think you're familiar with the jangling goodness of a Jazzmaster, think again. This offset just got a whole lot better.

The legendary Jazzmaster silhouette forms its shape with an alder body, adorned with a tortoiseshell pickguard, aged white pickup covers and knobs, all atop a sleek polyurethane Black finish. Timelessly striking and tonally pronounced, this offset body supplies the resonance that has persisted for decades, making the Jazzmaster a staple in a multitude of genres to this day. Attached to the body is a Deep "C" shaped maple neck, boasting a "Super-Natural" satin finish for an intuitive and comfortable feel across the 25.5" scale length. In addition, a sculpted neck heel provides unobstructed access to the higher frets. Topping the neck is a rosewood fingerboard, lined with white dot inlays and narrow tall frets to supply that vintage feel that players demand from a Jazzmaster.

Hardware makes a guitar, and the American Professional series ensures each Jazzmaster is setup for greatness. A ClassicGear J-Bridge with Panorama tremolo touts that intonation and vibrational coupling is maximized, while expressive pitch-modulation can be pushed and pulled with the pop-in arm. Moving up the neck we'll find a bone nut for further support with intonation and string spacing, while the standard cast/sealed staggered tuning machines ensure all pitches are precise during each gig, jam, and writing session.

As Jazzmaster and offset aficionados, the electronics are our favorite part. Two V-Mod III single-coil JM pickups grace this model to deliver that articulate, jangley, but slightly edgy tones that we love so much. These pickups amplify through lead and rhythm circuits, adjusted by two different control schemes to get the most tonal variety out of your offset. Additionally, the witch hat tone control features a push/pull mechanism that taps the bridge pickup for a sublime vintage tone.
