This iconic Fender tonewood acts as a fantastic foundation with a bright and resonant base to build on top of. A gloss finish dashed across its double-cutaway form stands out onstage with a dark black shade.

Almost as iconic as its double-cutaway alder body, this American Professional model welcomes a maple neck in a Deep "C" profile. This sleek "C" makes for smooth moves from lower to higher registers with ease alongside Fender's "Super-Natural" satin finish. Mirroring the comfort of the neck on the fingertips, a maple fingerboard appears with rolled edges. Effortlessly smooth when playing at any register, the Strat's sculpted neck heel offers quick access to higher frets for soloing. Twenty-two Narrow Tall frets line the board for an articulate, comfortable feel along a modern 9.5" fingerboard radius to keep power chords and high note bends evenly accessible.

Sonically, this American Professional Stratocaster comes alive with an iconic electronics arrangement. Three Fender V-Mod III Stratocaster single-coil pickups queue up on this American Professional to summon the iconic sparkle and snap with which the Strat became legendary. These single-coils are then shaped through Fender's ClassicGear Precision potentiometers. Specially designed for consistent control and customized tonal sculpting, these pots up the ante on classic Stratocaster single-coil playability.

This American Professional Stratocaster's musical experience is backed up by a number of quality hardware specifications. First, the Strat is equipped with an upgraded two-point tremolo bridge at the base of the 25.5" scale with a cold-rolled steel block and new ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles. Designed for accuracy and stability in vibrato bends with recessed screws, these updates enhance playability from your usual tremolo bridge. Near the headstock, a bone nut and cast/sealed staggered tuning machines keep stringing easy and intonation solid.
