Fender American Professional Stratocaster Electric Guitar, Maple Fingerboard, 3-Color Sunburst

Fired up in the American Professional Series, the Fender American Professional Stratocaster is a model bringing the fireworks, as is Fender's reputation for doing. This flagship entry in Fender history and their revamped American Professional series pulls out great musical features throughout the series while making a name for itself among its American Professional brethren and within the greater Stratocaster story.

The Fender American Professional Stratocaster takes up a classic mantle in the American Professional series. Striking Fender features found throughout mix with the series' fresh innovations to welcome in players old and new with modern-minded considerations at the forefront. Everything here begins – as many, many great Strats have – with a double-cutaway body assembled from alder. This iconic Fender tonewood serves as a phenomenal foundation with a bright and resonant base to build up from. A gloss finish wraps up this iconic profile to stand out onstage with a warm 3-Color Sunburst shade.

As iconic as its double-cutaway alder body, this American Professional model brings on a maple neck in a Deep "C" profile. This sleek "C" enables smooth moves from lower to higher registers alongside Fender's "Super-Natural" satin finish. Matching the comfort of the neck for the fingertips, a maple fingerboard features rolled edges. Insanely smooth when playing at any register, the Strat's sculpted neck heel presents quick access to higher frets for soloing. Twenty-two Narrow Tall frets line this board for a comfortable, articulate fretting feel along a modern 9.5" fingerboard radius to keep power chords and high note bends equally accessible.

Audibly, this American Professional Stratocaster comes to life with a classic electronics arrangement. Three Fender V-Mod III Stratocaster single-coil pickups line up with this American Professional to introduce the iconic snap and sparkle with which the Strat became a household name. These single-coils are shaped through Fender's ClassicGear Precision potentiometers. Specially tuned for consistent control and customized tonal shaping, these pots advance the game on the classic Stratocaster single-coil experience.

This American Professional Stratocaster's musical experience is solidly backed up by a selection of hardware specifications. For one, the Strat is loaded with an upgraded two-point tremolo bridge at the base of its 25.5" scale length with a cold-rolled steel block and new ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles. Crafted for accuracy and stability in vibrato bends with recessed screws, these updates up the ante on playability from your usual tremolo bridge. Towards the headstock, a bone nut and cast/sealed staggered tuning machines keep stringing easy and intonation sturdy. The American Professional Stratocaster comes with an included deluxe molded hardshell case.

A classic in its time and any other, the American Professional Stratocaster is ready for another day in the sun.
