Everything here starts – as so many great Strats have before it – with a double-cutaway body brought together from alder. This classic Fender tonewood serves as a phenomenal first step for the experience with a bright and resonant base to build on top of. A gloss finish wraps this iconic profile to stand out onstage with a rich Oxblood color.

Almost as iconic as an alder body, this American Professional model welcomes a maple neck in a Deep "C" profile. This sleek "C" assists in fast moves from lower to higher registers alongside Fender's "Super-Natural" satin finish. Matching the neck's feel with a comfortable one on the fingertips, a rosewood fingerboard lands with rolled edges. Supremely smooth when playing at every register, the Strat's sculpted neck heel presents easy access to higher frets for soloing. Twenty-two Narrow Tall frets offer articulation and comfort in equal measure while a modern 9.5" fingerboard radius keeps power chords and high note bends equally easy.

Sonically, this American Professional Stratocaster comes alive with a classic electronics setup. Onboard, three V-Mod III Stratocaster single-coil pickups line up with this American Professional to introduce the iconic sparkle and snap for which the Strat has become famous. These single-coils are sculpted through the American Professional's ClassicGear Precision potentiometers. Specifically tuned for consistent control and customized tonal shaping, these pots up the ante for the classic Strat single-coil experience.

This American Professional Strat's musical experience is solidified by a selection of hardware pieces. For one, the Strat features an upgraded two-point tremolo bridge at the base of the 25.5" scale with a cold-rolled steel block and new ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles. Made for accuracy and stability in vibrato bends along with recessed screws, these upgrades elevate the playability of your typical tremolo bridge. Near the headstock, a bone nut and cast/sealed staggered tuning machines keep stringing easy and intonation sturdy. The American Professional Stratocaster travels with an included deluxe molded hardshell case.
