For long-standing fans of the Fender Custom Shop looking for something they've never seen before – or just about any Fender fan for that matter – this Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Custom assembles with a number of unique features you're more likely to see in isolation on other models, rather than all together in one! In any case, everything starts with this limited edition Telecaster Custom with a roasted ash body with an off-center treble-side seam. This lighter, brighter Fender tonewood serves as a sonic springboard from which the rest of the musical experience leaps. Contributing to the whole guitar landing just above a comfortable seven pounds, this roasted ash is an excellent "square one."

The guitar's '59 Esquire "C" profile additionally plays uniquely with custom dimensions for a thinner .810" to .880" thickness moving from the first fret to the twelfth. This thin neck profile matches with a high-quality flat lam slab AAA rosewood fingerboard lined with twenty-one 6150 Medium Jumbo frets. Balancing spaciousness and precision, these Medium Jumbo frets lay out across a flat 9.5" - 12" compound radius with Vintage Clay facedot inlays.

These troublemaking Tele pickups are wired to a unique four-way Modified '51 Nocaster setup for an intriguing tonal mixing experience. Totally, this Tele's sonic experience is backed up by a 58-63 Tele bridge with RSD saddles for sturdy and precise intonation alongside a bone nut and vintage-style tuning machines. The Custom Shop's Deluxe Closet Classic hardware finish treatment appears across the guitar's hardware pieces for that added bit of charming age.
