This '68 Tele is constructed from a 2-piece alder body that was sorted for weight – clocking in at just 7 lb 11.3 oz, this single-cut is light and resonant. The body is treated to the stunning Super Aged Bleached 3 Color Sunburst and is further accented by a 3-ply pickguard, chrome/nickel hardware, and it's gorgeous plain maple bolt-on neck. Speaking of which, the neck's profile is a super comfy '60s style oval "C" shape that plays effortlessly. For its fingerboard, a 7.25-inch radius AAA rosewood board was selected along with mother of pearl facedots. The board is crowned with 21 vintage upgrade frets.

Loaded in the body, a set of handwound '67 Tele single-coil pickups reside in the bridge and neck positions. Designed and wound to vintage-inspired specifications, these pickups deliver twangy tones with clear definition, just like the Tele's of late '60s. The pickups are wired to a single volume/tone control and are further explorable with the 3-way selector switch. The strings are loaded through the tradition 3-barrel saddle bridge, rest in the bone nut slots, and are tuned to pitch with the Schaller F-style tuning machines. The entire guitar is treated with Fender's Closet Classic finish – simulating a vintage instrument that was gently played at home and lived most of its life in the case.
