Fender Custom Shop '52 Telecaster, Heavy Relic, Maple, Aged Olympic White XN123769

The Fender Custom Shop '52 Telecaster combines the first year Telecaster design and feel with a custom finish and modern wiring controls, two-piece ash body is finished in Aged Olympic White nitro lacquer. The heavy relic treatment across the body, neck, and even the lacquered guard is applied meticulously to look and play like a well-worn vintage instrument. The neck profile is the ever-popular 1952 Style "U", worn down to the buttery smooth wood as part of the relic process. 1st fret is 8.60" deep thickening up to .920" deep at the 12th. Fingerboard is also relic'd to perfection, with its 7.25" vintage radius but loaded with a more modern 6150 medium jumbo fret wire. Period accurate hardware including bridge and tuning machines have just the right amount of rust and wear. The 51 Nocaster pickups are controlled by a modern-day wiring, Bridge/Both/Neck configuration.
