Description
This is a 2017 Fender Custom 1963 Journeyman Relic Telecaster. A 2017 NAMM exclusive, this guitar features a double-bound 2-piece select alder body finished in Burgundy Mist. The body received the Journeyman relic package, while the hardware received the Closet Classic package.
The neck is a heavy relic Quartersawn maple "C" shape, with a 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard and 6105 frets.
This Tele has plenty of pop and spank, but also has a great cleanup thanks in part to the Greasebucket tone circuit. The heavy relic neck allows for easy access up and down the fretboard.
A double-bound, Burgundy Mist Telecaster is certainly eye-catching, but it'll catch the rest of you once you plug it in. Whether rock, country, blues, or jazz, this NAMM Exclusive piece excels on all grounds.
This Fender Custom 63' Journeyman Relic Tele is in mint condition.
