The Fender Custom Shop Josefina Handwound Dual Mag II Stratocaster Pickups are meticulously crafted by Josefina Campos, one of Fender's most respected Master Pickup Winders. Designed to deliver a refined blend of clarity, warmth, and articulation, this set builds on the foundation of the original Dual Mag design by using a carefully selected mix of alnico 2 and alnico 5 magnets across the string spread.

These pickups feature unbeveled alnico 5 magnets under the low E through G strings to provide focused low-end and crisp midrange, while the B and high E strings are paired with hand-beveled alnico 2 magnets. This dual-magnet approach enhances upper register sweetness and maintains low-end authority. A unique custom magnet stagger, including a slightly lowered G pole and slightly taller B and E poles, helps to ensure even volume and tonal balance from string to string.

Each coil is wrapped with copper shielding tape to reduce electromagnetic interference and minimize unwanted noise.
