Fender Custom Shop LTD '50s Stratocaster Relic Electric Guitar, Super Aged Desert Sand

Fresh in from our friends at the Fender Custom Shop we have this wonderful Limited Edition '50s Stratocaster Relic finished in Super Aged Desert Sand. Expertly crafted and tastefully spec'd, we're confident you're going to love this one as much as we do. Let's talk shop, shall we?

This Strat is constructed from a 2-piece select alder body with an offset seam, meaning – great care was taken into consideration when finding the perfect candidate blank to become a guitar, the offset seam adds to the uniqueness of the instrument. Nickel/chrome hardware adds great contrast to the super aged desert sand finish, complete with a 1-ply gold anodized aluminum pickguard, knurled aluminum knobs, and white plastics. To amplify its voice, a set of Custom Shop Hand-wound 11/56 Single-Coil Strat pickups are wired into the pickguard and feature a special bridge/neck blend option by way of Vintage Modified #2 wiring. In addition, a tone-saver treble-bleed circuit is wired to the master volume to maintain clarity at any volume setting.

For its neck, a 25.5-inch scale length 1-piece quartersawn maple neck is craved to a custom 11/56 off center "V" shape and is bolted to the body. The maple board plays great with its 9.5-inch radius fingerboard and 21 narrow tall frets. High quality hardware ties everything together for a premium play experience. Strings are loaded through the 6-saddle RSD Stratocaster Tremolo bridge with steel saddles before being strung to pitch at the headstock with the vintage-style tuning machines with white buttons.

The entire Strat has received a Relic finish – perfectly replicating decades of consistent use. Finish checking, dings, dents, scuffs, hardware patina, and fingerboard use are all proudly on display – adding to the vintage-inspired vibe and feel of the guitar – there is no need to play nice, what more could you possibly do?

The Strat is packed safely in its Fender Custom Shop Deluxe Hardshell case with includes its COA. A limited-edition gem, this Strat is ready for a day out.
