A harmonious culmination of vintage and modern sensibilities, this Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Thinline Stratocaster in a Deluxe Closet Classic Treatment may be a mouthful, but the end result is an intuitive, natural tone machine. Offered in an Aged Shell Pink, the aesthetics of this closet-aged custom shop guitar match its gloriously resonant semi-hollow sound.

Built for the best by the best, this Postmodern Stratocaster begins with a '65 shaped sassafras body that is sorted for weight and delivered at 7lbs 5.6oz. The Deluxe Closet Classic Aged Shell Pink beautifully hugs the F-hole touting semi-hollow body, wonderfully accented with a black pickguard and cream covers on the knobs and pickups. As for the pickups, three hand-wound El Diablo single-coils are placed in the bridge, middle, and neck positions, equipped with the Pomo Strat Fat 50s wiring and brought to life by 250K 10% split taper potentiometers. Impressively aggressive for a Thinline Strat, this Postmodern powerhouse beautifully cleans up too, producing articulate, glistening highs that never become obstructed by the solid, resonating low-end.

As is traditional for a Custom Shop Strat, the neck is 4-bolted to the body with a Fender Custom Shop neckplate, adorned with logo and serial number. The quartersawn maple neck is provided in a 60s style Oval "C" profile, finished with a medium tint that delivers that fresh-out-the-case look we love in a Deluxe Closet Classic. Affixed to the neck is a AAA rosewood fingerboard, lined with twenty-one narrow tall frets and adorned with Mother of Pearl dot inlays. This fingerboard sports a compound radius, starting at 9.5" near the first fret and thinning out to a 12" radius at the twelfth fret. Comfortable as ever, this Postmodern Thinline Stratocaster welcomes players of all styles to fret their chords and slide their solos with ease.

No Fender Custom Shop is complete without the appropriate, thoughtfully considered hardware. On the body, we'll find an RSD Strat bridge that provides further comfort and supreme string-to-body vibration transfer. Following the string path up the guitar, a bone nut supplies stable intonation, while the vintage style tuning machines maintain proper pitches throughout any and all sessions and gigs.
