Fender Custom Shop '55 Stratocaster Relic Electric Guitar, Seafoam Green Sparkle

Just washed up from the west coast, we've got this Fender Custom Shop '55 Stratocaster in a salty Seafoam Green Sparkle! This classically "SoCal" Custom Shop brings together some iconic Fender tenets – of course all dressed up with knockout aesthetic elements and dynamite electronics. Something to make you really feel the sea breeze in your hair and the sand in your toes, this Fender Custom Shop is a proverbial day at the beach.

Bright and refreshing, this Custom Shop Strat lines up a number of striking features bursting with personality. A showcase of exceptional specs, this '55 Custom Strat starts out with a two-piece alder body. This classic Fender tonewood contributes a bright and resonant sonic profile while its comfortable shape and weight contributes to the whole guitar landing right at eight pounds. What's more, this alder acts as an exceptional base on which a dazzling aesthetic is built. The Custom Shop's Relic finish wear treatment introduces charming wear and age across the gloss lacquer's seafoam sparkle color. Balancing the brightness of its color with the authenticity of its wear, this Strat is a masterful mix of old and new.

From here, this Custom Shop Strat brings on a plain grain maple neck in a '54 Soft "V" profile. Taking on a fuller, retro-feeling shape in the palm, this geometric "V" measures from .900" thick at the first fret to .985" at the twelfth. The guitar's plain grain neck is showed off even closer with an unfinished Heavy Relic back, exhibiting its character more closely and tangibly. This plain grain fills out to a fingerboard lined with twenty-one 6150 Medium Jumbo frets. Perfectly spacious and articulate, these frets lay out across a 9.5" radius with no wear for a clean look and feel.

Crashing out in wonderful Fender fashion, this Custom Shop brings on a striking electronics setup. Three Fat '50s Strat single-coil pickups assemble with this Custom Shop for iconic single-coil snap and sparkle. 250K 10% split taper potentiometers contribute to these pickups' effortless tone shaping capabilities – as wired to the Custom Shop's Vintage Strat #2 Modified wiring scheme. The Strat's musical experience is built up by a sturdy hardware setup. An American Vintage series tremolo bridge lands at the base of the scale with a bone nut and vintage-style tuning machines to match toward the headstock. This surfy Strat travels with an included Fender Custom Shop Strat/Tele Tweed hardshell case.
