Fender John 5 Ghost Telecaster Electric Guitar, White

Finally, a Tele with some 'tude. Fans of metal and hard rock will instantly recognize John 5's staple Ghost Telecaster, a collaboration between the artist and Fender to deliver a singular Tele with aggressive and modern-minded alterations. A dominating instrument with striking aesthetics and an assaultive tone, John 5's Ghost Telecaster defines the heaviness that the artist brought to projects such as Marilyn Manson, Mötley Crüe, and Rob Zombie.

This Ghost guitar carves its Tele silhouette from nyatoh, finished in an Arctic White gloss on the top with a satin treatment on the back. The matching headcap, mirror pickguard, and red binding and hardware accents tie the iconic guitar together. Connected to the body by a signature neck plate is the maple neck, offered in a custom Medium "C" shape designed specifically for John 5. The satin finish on the neck is smooth, and players will find that the custom shape sits perfectly in the palm when shredding and ripping power chords. Topping the neck is a maple fingerboard lined with narrow tall frets and red dot inlays. The final flourish is a red Fender logo adorning the white headcap.

Aesthetics are only in service to the vicious tone, and John 5 has appointed DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers to do the job. Loud, overdriven, and ready for all levels of gain, these red pickups provide articulate bite with a tight low-end response. With a stripped-down control scheme—a lone volume knob, kill switch, and 3-way pickup selector—all sounds are supreme within the Ghost.
