Fans of metal and hard rock will immediately recognize John 5’s iconic Phantom Telecaster, a collaboration between the artist and Fender that takes the classic Tele design and injects it with aggressive, modern upgrades. A commanding instrument with striking looks and a ferocious voice, the John 5 Ghost Telecaster captures the heaviness and attitude the guitarist brought to projects with Marilyn Manson, Mötley Crüe, and Rob Zombie.

The Ghost Telecaster retains its classic Tele silhouette while carving the body from nyatoh, finished with a sleek black gloss on top and a smooth satin finish on the back. A matching headcap, mirror pickguard, and white binding bring the entire look together. Bolted to the body with a signature neck plate is a maple neck featuring a custom Medium “C” profile developed specifically for John 5. The satin neck finish feels fast and comfortable in the hand, making it equally suited for high-speed shredding and hard-hitting power chords. Up top, an ebony fingerboard is outfitted with narrow tall frets and white dot inlays. Completing the headstock is a bold white Fender logo set against the black headcap.

The aggressive aesthetics are backed by a tone built to hit hard, thanks to a pair of DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers. Loud, punchy, and ready to handle serious amounts of gain, these red pickups deliver articulate bite along with a tight, controlled low end. The stripped-down control layout keeps things simple with a single volume knob, kill switch, and 3-way pickup selector, giving you everything you need without getting in the way. For added expression and rock-solid tuning stability, Fender has fitted the Ghost with a 2-point Floyd Rose locking tremolo, ready for everything from subtle pitch bends to full-on divebombs.
