At the heart of this signature Tele, we have a Fender staple – an alder body shaped in an iconic, single-cutaway form. Fender's nitrocellulose Olympic White lacquer finish is treated to their Road Worn distressing process that imparts some charming wear and age to the overall presentation of the instrument. Some peeks at the alder underneath give this Tele an overall multidimensional feel. Reaching out, a maple neck shaping in Fender's 1968 "C" shape and decked in a sleek oil finish delivers a slim, smooth feel across the playing palm. Twenty-one spacious Jumbo frets land across a maple fingerboard measuring with a vintage-accurate 7.25" radius.

With its voice, this Fender signature breathes with two custom-designed Telecaster single-coils. In either position, a John Osborne Telecaster single-coil lands with a tight, focused tone perfect for getting along to Osborne's famous country Tele licks. While plenty goes on above deck, under the hood, this Telecaster's got some party tricks it's ready to share.

The John Osborne Telecaster features a Fender B Bender system tied to its strap buttons. Within the guitar, a mechanism works in response to movements on the leftmost strap button, where the B string can be pitched up a whole step to a C#. This little maneuver delivers some key country twang to put a little somethin' somethin' in your soloing. A three-saddle modified Vintage-Style Tele bridge lands with compensated brass saddles to make sure everything's staying solid with your B string swings.
