This iconic bass boasts a satin Heirloom nitrocellulose lacquer natural finish on an alder body, showcasing the many stories of endless tours and long studio sessions. Smooth, with an already worn-in look and feel, this P Bass is primed for greatness. Delivering a balanced tone with natural resonance, this sustain machine is the perfect tonal palette for all genres and playing styles.

Attached to the body is a maple neck sporting a 1962 Jazz Bass “C” profile—an interesting appointment on a P Bass, but nonetheless functional, intuitive, and always comfortable. The slimmer nut width allows for further reaches, touting a unique back shape that Lee Sklar finds most approachable for his style of playing. Topping the neck is a 7.25"-radius, round-laminated rosewood fingerboard. With its pronounced midrange and warm tone, this fingerboard is lined with low, sleek mandolin frets and marked with clay dot inlays.

As for the hardware, a BadAss II bridge boosts the sustaining capabilities while supporting steady, consistent tuning. The individually adjustable grooved saddles allow for a precise setup, ensuring comfort and intonation are always perfect. Further up the neck, a brass nut can be found to support intonation and maintain string spacing, while Gotoh reversed-open-gear tuning machines provide smooth and precise tuning. Additionally, a Hipshot VT3 Bass Xtender has been installed to perform instant drop tuning with the flip of a switch.
