The new formula of the Mahogany Blacktop starts with the replacement of classic Stratocaster single-coils pickups with two alnico humbucking pickups to give the instrument an overall new voice and tone. Further features of the Mahogany Blacktop Stratocaster include a 9.5”-radius pau ferro fingerboard for comfortable trips up and down the thick “C”-shaped neck. Along with a streamlined neck design, the Mahogany Blacktop incorporates a vintage-style 6-screw Synchronized Tremolo for expressive bends in playing.
