The Mark Speer Stratocaster brings the best of classic Fender features into the twenty-first century. With extensive soloing, reverb-drenched riffage, and a hardy dose of cool factor, the Khruangbin guitarist wields his vintage Strat with finesse. Coming together as a faithful recreation of Speer's Strat, this limited edition model is an exciting guitar for anybody.

This all begins with a gloss-finished select ash body shaped in Fender's classic double-cutaway profile. The Strat's see-through finish makes for an effortlessly natural aesthetic coupling the bareness and slickness of the ash cut. Slipping easily under the arm, this is a guitar for the stage visually and tangibly. A Custom "C" maple neck extends out from this natural body and connects in the palm for a playing experience that inspires quick travels from higher to lower registers. Filling out to a 7.25" radius fingerboard, this Strat plays with a more vintage-minded, rounded feel on the fingers to match Speer's extensive melodies and solos. Twenty-one Jumbo frets align across the maple fingerboard to top off the fretting experience.

Sonically, Speer's Strat comes to life with the addition of a unique pickup setup. In the neck and bridge positions, the Mark Speer Stratocaster features two Dimarzio ProTrack pickups. These pickups produce distinct humbucker tones and only get even more intriguing with a vintage-voiced Strat single-coil in the bridge. Dialed in for a '70s-style single-coil tone, this middle pickup offers its own unique sonic profile to play alongside the humbucking warmth of the Dimarzios.

On top of the versatility of the electronics, the Mark Speer Stratocaster features a great hardware setup. A six-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge lands at the base of the scale for working expressive vibrato bends into playing. This bridge is matched with six Fender vintage-style tuning machines at the scale's opposite end. Graph Tech saddles and string trees build up the precision of intonation on this Strat even further for a fluid and solid playing experience.
