Fender Limited Raphael Saadiq Telecaster, Rosewood Fingerboard, Dark Metallic Red

Much like his music, this Fender Limited Raphael Saadiq Telecaster blends vintage charm and contemporary flair. As a guitarist, bassist, multi-platinum producer, and Grammy-winning artist, Raphael Saadiq's influence on music is undeniable, and this signature model reflects his keen vision and dedication to timeless a sound.

In Tele fashion, the body of the Raphael Saadiq custom guitar is cut from ash, and topped with single-ply black top binding, an unusual feature for Telecaster models. On the body, a gorgeous pickguard with a custom graphic featuring yellow flowers and a one-of-a-kind shape contrasts the color of the body. The body is finished in a deep, Dark Metallic Red that has a touch of sparkle to it, making a visual statement.

Attached to the body using a 4-bolt plate with a custom Raphael Saadiq graphic on it, a one-piece maple neck features a 1959 "C" shape- a notoriously comfortable neck profile. The neck rear features a satin urethane finish, with a skunk stripe running down its middle — a trait found in Telecaster models starting in the '70s and a result of truss rod installation for Bullet style rods. The 9.5" radius fingerboard of the Raphael Saadiq Telecaster is made from slab rosewood, and topped with clay dot position inlays, and divided by 21 Vintage-Tall frets.

This guitar isn't just a looker, but it also shines sonically thanks to its custom Raphael Saadiq Single-Coil Tele pickups. Its SS pickup configuration featuring these vintage-inspired pickups (the neck with a chrome cover on it), offer the twang of a vintage Telecaster, while being easily controlled by a 3-position blade switching system.

Completing the package, the Raphael Saadiq Telecaster comes equipped with premium hardware, including a Pure Vintage 3-Saddle Tele bridge with threaded steel barrel saddles, Pure Vintage Single Line "Fender Deluxe" tuning machines, and vintage-style strap buttons. 

Each Raphael Saadiq Telecaster is serialized and comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
